Angie Leblanc, 2nd Dan, started training in April 2012 and she received her Shodan in 2015 from Shihan David Pyke.

She has participated in regional, national and international tournaments, receiving various medals including gold for Team Kata and Team Enbu at IKD World Cup in Toronto in 2015.

She has always had a passion for karate, having started in 1994. She took some time away from training when life got busy raising her two daughters.

When she joined Moncton IKD, it was simply to get involved in the community and sport she loved and missed. Her long-term goal is to continue to focus on her training and testing for her next dan level.

In 2021, Sensei Angie was promoted to 2nd Dan by Shihan Janice Pyke.
